What does email sending-domain setup include?
The $25 one-time setup service covers connecting one sending domain or subdomain you own and configuring the authentication records needed for email sending. We will need access to the relevant domain settings. Domain purchase, renewal, and mailbox hosting are separate; this is not an email inbox hosting service. Setup is not a guarantee of inbox placement.
What can I do with email marketing?
Send newsletters, offers, announcements, and automated follow-ups to your permission-based contact list. Keep customer conversations and campaign activity connected to your Service Grower account. Campaign strategy, design, and hands-on management follow the scope of your plan; sending volume is priced separately here.
How do the 1,000 included emails work?
Your active Service Grower plan includes 1,000 outgoing email sends each month. An email sent to 500 recipients uses 500 sends. Additional outgoing sends are $0.002 each, equivalent to $2 per 1,000, billed proportionally rather than in whole blocks. Unused sends do not roll over.
What is email verification?
It checks an email address’s format, domain, and mailbox existence to help identify invalid or risky addresses before sending. Optional verification costs $5 per 1,000 checks ($0.005 each), separate from sends, and can be added to the calculator. Enter the checks you expect to perform that month, not your total sends. It does not guarantee inbox placement, eliminate every bounce, or establish marketing consent. The included email allowance does not cover checks.
Are there other email charges?
Incoming or forwarded email activity, dedicated IPs, and other optional services are outside this calculator. Any applicable pricing is confirmed before those services are enabled. Domain authentication, sending limits, and account reputation affect delivery; inbox placement is not guaranteed.
Do I need a card on file?
Yes. A valid payment card is required on file when you sign up. We confirm setup fees, usage rates, and any additional charges before activation. This calculator is an estimate and does not charge your card.
What does the $25 SMS setup cover?
Our one-time setup service helps configure one US local SMS number and prepare your messaging registration. Third-party brand and campaign registration charges are separate. Approval is required before sending business texts and is not guaranteed. Additional campaigns or special registration requirements are quoted separately.
Why can one text count as more than one segment?
SMS is billed by segment, not conversation. A standard GSM-7 text usually fits 160 characters; longer texts generally use 153 characters per segment. Unicode, including many emoji, typically reduces this to 70 characters for one segment or 67 for multipart texts. Both outgoing texts and incoming replies count toward usage.
What costs are not included in the SMS subtotal?
Carrier surcharges, third-party brand and campaign registration, recurring campaign fees, and taxes are additional. Number rental continues while the number is active, even if no texts are sent. Picture messages (MMS), calling, international messaging, number lookups, and extra phone numbers are outside this estimate. Delivery attempts can be billable even when a message is not delivered.
Can I upload a purchased contact list?
No. Use contacts who have given the appropriate permission to receive your marketing. Email and SMS permissions are separate. We help configure unsubscribe and SMS opt-out handling; sending eligibility and registration requirements must be met before launching campaigns.
